Entrepreneurial projects that are blindly launched under the so-called "sharing" aura will also suffer from a variety of defects and eventually become instant fireworks.

Recently, the shared sleep project that has attracted the attention of the media and the public has taken on new situations. Following the closure of the project last week, the security administration department of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau interviewed the person in charge of the shared sleep enterprise "Sleeping Space" on the 21st, and asked to dismantle the space capsule that has been built.

These shared sleep projects suffered a heavy setback at the beginning, which is really different from the previous shared umbrella and shared basketball. The latter two are more concerned with demand, while shared sleep is inherently flawed.

Without discussing whether these shared sleep projects set up near the office area are just needed, it will be found by simply observing its previous preparations that entrepreneurs and investors are rushing to launch projects that do not have legal procedures and business licenses, which is bound to leave bitter consequences for others and themselves.

Now, 16 places set up by the "Sleeping Space" enterprise have been closed, which is why they jumped into the pit they dug. It also shows a trend that government departments will be more strict in regulating the standardization and orderliness of entrepreneurship and innovation. It is really necessary to think about where the red line is before blindfolded rush.

Sharing new species encounters growth troubles

On July 15, some media reported that the door of the shared bed "sleeping space" in Zhongguancun, Beijing, was closed. An office worker said that the shared bed of the company had been closed by the police, and the specific reason was unknown. It is understood that similar shared sleep capsules have been gradually launched in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and other places.

This matter has made new progress in recent days. According to xinhuanet, Beijing's public security organs revealed that a recent investigation into the "shared sleeping cabin" found that there were many hidden dangers such as security and fire protection.

It is understood that the shared sleep capsule in Zhongguancun, Beijing is owned by Beijing First Science and Technology Co., Ltd. Its business scope focuses on scientific and technological development, technical services, etc. There are many places in the city where the shared sleep capsule can be placed. The space capsule on the second underground floor of a square in Zhongguancun Street, Haidian District, is a cuboid space about 2.1 meters long, 0.9 meters wide and 0.9 meters high, which can accommodate one person. It is worth emphasizing that you do not need to register your identity information to stay in the space capsule. You can only use it after registering and scanning the code through your mobile phone.

According to the Fire Protection Law, the "shared sleeping cabin" is a hotel. If it is open to the outside world, it needs to go through the corresponding legal procedures, such as fire administrative approval or filing procedures. In addition, according to Article 2 of the Beijing Provisions on the Administration of Public Security in the Hotel Industry, a business site that provides accommodation and rest services in the form of time off must apply to the local public security organ for a special industry license for the hotel industry, and shall not operate without permission.

However, the sleeping space does not have the corresponding business qualification in terms of relevant laws and regulations, public security organ supervision, fire safety technical standards, etc. Therefore, the public security administration department of the Beijing Public Security Bureau interviewed the relevant person in charge of the "sleeping space" and told them that they should go through the corresponding legal procedures. If they operate privately without permission, they will be investigated and punished according to law.

In this regard, the person in charge of the company said, "I am very grateful to the public security authorities for their guidance in laws and regulations, and the company will strictly abide by the law." The company has also truly complied with its commitment and has shut down all 16 space capsule business sites in the city.

Blind wire connection cannot make air outlet

Looking back at the online car hailing war in 2015 and the popularity of bike sharing in 2016, it is because of the huge market demand and user traffic, which has been sought after by capital and triggered a sharing boom.

For a while, in the wave of sharing economy entrepreneurship, bike sharing enterprises took the lead, followed by the emergence of shared umbrellas, shared basketballs, shared washing machines, shared rechargeable batteries and shared sleep... The emergence of these sharing economy projects has a lot to do with the crazy promotion of bike sharing and even online car hailing by the capital market.

This situation reminds me of the O2O boom in 2014 and 2015. Because of the popularity of takeout O2O and other local life services, the influx of hot capital, and investment and financing events almost every week, many people rushed to launch various O2O projects.

However, the projects that were eager to seize the air and attract capital at that time ended badly because of various hidden dangers. For example, fresh O2O without cold chain service capability, laundry O2O without perfect after-sales service mechanism, and Meiye O2O without personnel safety training have been abandoned by capital and market.

However, the reason why these projects cannot survive is not only the hidden dangers left by each other, but also the key factor of market demand. In the current sharing economy, many projects cannot verify whether there is a real market demand. However, it is certain that some of these projects are similar to the O2O of that year. They are all designed to attract capital to make money quickly. Many capitals, because they missed the bike sharing vents, are willing to seize or make new ones at any cost.

Taking the shared sleep project as an example, according to Dai Jiangong, the founder of the shared sleep space, shared sleep was his idea in April this year. He completed the internal test in May and then went online. "In the use process, users can open the cabin door by scanning the QR code and entering the small program of sleeping space. After clicking 'unlock the cabin door', users can leave temporarily or end their stay. In order to ensure the health of users, we provide disposable bedding, including space blanket, disposable bed sheet, disposable pillow towel, etc."

Objectively speaking, the design of sleeping space can provide some convenience for users. Moreover, the 50 space capsules launched in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and other places have also attracted many users. However, the project was still launched in a hurry and was not well prepared in all aspects in the early stage, which led to the suspension of the project due to the lack of relevant business qualifications within two months of its launch.

Yu Minhong, the founder of New Oriental, summed up an experience based on the problems of the startup companies he invested in. All companies that finally had problems had one thing in common, that is, two problems occurred while claiming to solve the pain points. "The first is to find a fake pain point, and the second is to solve the pain point and bring about other pain points. For example, find a beautiful girl who wants to fall in love with her, and solve the pain point of falling in love. Then the girl asked me to give me 100000 yuan every day to fall in love with me, and immediately felt that love could not be done, because it brought the pain point of economic shortage."

This shows that projects in the sharing economy should not neglect the early design and leave hidden dangers for themselves because of the rush for time and market without considering whether they are just needed, otherwise they will pay a higher price.

The world is bustling, all for profit. What entrepreneurs and investors need to understand is that not all shared projects can become shared bicycles, and blind and vain people can not pile up a new outlet.
